MaxNetAging Research School

The MaxNetAging Research School (MNARS) is a stipend program launched by the MaxNetAging Network. This stipend program provides funding for doctoral and postdoctoral students. Each MNARS student is affiliated with one of the participating Max Planck Institutes. At the beginning of the first year, the PhD students and postdocs spend an initial period of six months at the MPIDR. The aim of the initial period is to provide the MNARS fellows with basic instruction, to extend their specialization towards a broader perspective on aging research, to stimulate cross-disciplinary collaboration among the students, and to complement their PhD education. Following the initial period, the PhD students and postdocs continue their education and research projects at the Max Planck Institute they are affiliated with, under the supervision of its director.
