Estimating Smooth Rates from Interval-Censored Data

Hazard rates model the occurrence of events over time. When individuals are observed at discrete time points only, exact information on event occurrence is lost and we get interval-censored data. The modest assumption of smoothness allows to estimate hazard trajectories despite the missing information.  Detailed Description
