Scientists and guests at the Institute should be able to concentrate fully on their research projects. To provide them with the best possible support, the MPIDR has established a wide-ranging and highly efficient research support infrastructure. This includes an IT-Department, who are responsible for the whole IT infrastructure and for helping scientists with the technical implementation of their research projects; a library, with staff who offer support in the acquisition of information; a graphic team, who assist scientists in preparing presentations and in the construction of graphs for publications; as well as a team who are responsible for the organization of events, including workshops and meetings.
