Alyson van Raalte

My work seeks out to describe and understand mortality disparities - between and within populations and socioeconomic groups. I was the recipient of the mid-career European Demographer Award from Population Europe and received financial support from the European Research Council (starting grant LIFEINEQ), and the Max Planck Society (STG extension award). I have a PhD in public health from Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam, and am an alumnus of the European Doctoral School of Demography.
