Economist Christian Dustmann from University College London (UCL) will give a lecture at the MPIDR addressing the question “Why don´t we like immigration?”

Vita
Christian Dustmann is Professor of Economics at University College London. He is Director of the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM) and Scientific Director of the NORFACE Research Program,  in which twelve translational research projects focussing on Migration in Europe are involved. In 1992 he received his Ph.D in Economics at the  European University Institute in Florence, Italy. In 1997 he received his habilitation from the University of Bielefeld, Germany.

His main research interests are in Labour Economics, Migration, and the Economics of Education.
