IDEM Kursnummerierungssystem

Die erste Ziffer einer Kursnummer beschreibt die Dauer des Kurses: 1 bezeichnet ein- oder zweiwöchige Kurse, 2 bezeichnet Kurse, die mehr als zwei Wochen, aber weniger als ein Semester lang sind, und 3 bezeichnet Kurse, die ein ganzes Semester dauern.

Die nächsten beiden Ziffern beschreiben das allgemeine Thema des Kurses wie folgt:

00-09: Event-History-Analyse und andere statistische Methoden; Forschungsdesign
10-19: Formale Demographie und Modellierungs-, Simulations- und Prognoseverfahren
20-29: Fruchtbarkeit und Familiendynamik
30-39: Mortalität, Morbidität, Langlebigkeit, Alterung der Bevölkerung
40-49: Wirtschaftsdemografie und Wechselwirkungen zwischen Bevölkerung, Wirtschaft und Umwelt
50-59: Migration und räumliche Demographie
60-69: Themen, die sich auf bestimmte Länder oder Regionen beziehen.
70-79: historische Demographie; Geschichte des demographischen Denkens
80-89: andere Themen
90-99: Studentenforschungsseminare und dergleichen
